Ingredients

  • 600-800 g pork cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 1 large onion finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tbsp paprika
  • 500 ml chicken stock
  • 200 ml sour cream
  • 2 red peppers sliced
  • Cornflour if needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Parsley for serving

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the pork pieces and brown them on all sides. Remove and set aside.
  • Sauté the onions until translucent, then add the garlic.
  • Stir in the paprika. Add the stock and bring it to a simmer.
  • Return the pork to the pan, add the pepper, cover and let simmer for at least 30 minutes, or until the pork is tender.
  • Once the pork is done, mix the sour cream into the sauce. If it's too thin, thicken it with cornflour mixed with cold water. Season with salt.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Serve with dumplings and a green salad.
