Curried Herring (Karrysild)

One of my famous Christmas herring recipes.
Ingredients
- 1 jar marinated herring fillets cut into pieces
- 100 g mayonnaise
- 100 ml whipping cream lightly whipped
- 1-2 tsp curry powder
- ½ tsp ground turmeric
- Salt, sugar and black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp white wine vinegar
Instructions
- Mix the mayonnaise, cream, curry powder, turmeric, vinegar, salt, sugar and pepper until smooth.
- Gently fold in the herring pieces.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavours to develop.
