Instructions
Heat oil in a frying pan and roast coriander seeds, chana dal, toor dal, fenugreek seeds, black peppercorns and dried chilli until the chana dal turns golden brown.
Grind the spice mixture to a powder in a spice grinder, or to a paste in a blender.
